The TelnetFP program determines a given hosts OS via telnet do/dont negotiation.
How does it work?
When a telnet connection is established, options are exchanged. This can be used to fingerprint a host, because of the options requests themselves and the order of which they are sent.
This program connects to a host's telnet daemon and reads the first set of options (do's in most cases). To these the proper answer is send. Now a second round of negotiation takes place. Options (dont's this time) are received and the fingerprint is completely received.
