Btscanner is a tool that extracts as much information as possible from a Bluetooth device without the requirement to pair. A detailed information screen extracts HCI and SDP information, and maintains an open connection to monitor the RSSI and link quality. btscanner is based on the BlueZ Bluetooth stack, which is included with recent Linux kernels, and the BlueZ toolset. Using the information gathered from these sources, it is possible to make educated guesses as to the host device type.

Hi, just noticed you were saying above about that guy who wanted to put it on his phone. Well that gave me curiosity,
I'm not asking you to tell me how its done or whatever as for ovious reasons, but is that possible, can people put this software onto their phones and use it in public places?

Non of this information should be made or coded for you little script kiddies that just want f&$k around with people for no reason but to snoop around. so most of the people with phones that have backdoors don't know of this. by the sounds of it you's dont understand the basis of this industries techo babble. my advise is learn how to protect yourself against others. keep blue tooth off unless using it, and hope others don't decide to leak a kiddy script coding program to do it all.
SHORT STORY : loud ass neighbors loud music every night, possiable class A drug dealin. Imagin down loading all there phone books, recent calls, picturs, there porn collection, the lock stock the fuckin lot! so music is blasting 3 days straight. Police station recieves 7 phone calls all at once with nothing but loud music, over and over they keep calling little do they know! police trace all 7 phone numbers to on location a house 100 meters from mine. ( super high gain anttenna ) police come nab the lot a message is sent to the officers personal phone that has left B.T. on and discover on! bingo sent target a text CHECK THERE MOBILES. dEAd and BURIED!
