PromiScan is a Windows 2000 tool that can help security managers find sniffers on the local network by searching for promiscuous nodes on the local net. It does not create a heavy load on the network, but quickly searches for promiscuous nodes.
Note that finding a promiscuous node is very difficult, and in many cases, the result is not certain.
