| The Linksys WAG200G ADSL modem/router has been found to return sensitive information to anyone sending it a packet to its UDP port 916, this information includes the PPPoA username and password. |

By sending a packet to UDP port 916, the Linksys answers with the following information:
* Product model
* Password webinterface
* Username PPPoA
* Password PPPoA
* SSID
* WPA Passphrase
This can be done on both the LAN interface as well as the Wireless interface.

| On my WAG200G (with firwmare 1.00.09) internal LAN interface answers with sensitive information, external interface doesn't answers with the same sensitive information. |

I bought one WAG200G one month ago, I found it will not answer the 916 packets from internet, only answer from LAN side, I have my WLAN encrypted, so there is no problem:)
it is stable and easy to use, however. |

can i test it with port scanner? scan to udp port 916??
sl -b 192.168.1.1 -u 916
