The Chernobyl (CIH) Virus was one of the most wide-spread and lethal viruses ever created. Since it hits on April 26th, you probably thought you'd never hear about it again.
But the Chernobyl is making a comeback. A new clone of the Chernobyl (CIH) virus was discovered, called "The Emperor". |

The AntiViral Toolkit (www.avp.com) offers a fully functional time limited version of their anti virus, which can detect and remove the Virus.

This new Virus mutation is even more deadly and difficult to discover by regular Anti Virus programs.
It infects both EXE and COM 16 bit executables (effecting DOS and old Windows applications), and also infects the boot sector of Hard drives and Diskettes.
Upon triggering, the virus erases all the data on the hard drives and corrupts the flash BIOS.
The virus also avoids being discovered by Anti Viruses using complex stealth tricks and anti-debugging hooks, making it very hard to discover using the conventional Anti-Virus packages.
