FreeBSD 3.0-Release (not the precompiled 'flavor' of it) is vulnerable to the age old Denial Of Service attack known as nestea v2. An attack on a box by a malicious user causes the FreeBSD to panic and a system reboot occurs (with an 'invalid page fault' error).
The problem was addressed and fixed. By upgrading the '/src/sys/netinet/ip_input.c' (version 1.103) and rebuilding the system binaries, the mentioned panic does not occur.
